dare I wonder of your thighs on those mornings
and of your satin bellied bay
how the tides may have listened then
to your mystery moaning against their timbers

and how seduction of your charms and arms
has unbuttoned the guards of neptune
and left them exposed just as aching masts
that prod a jealous sky for her writhing rights

and what passage would they employ for favor
if the winds were given as their blessings
would they bend their bows into your lathering
and shudder into the surges of your urgency

dare I wonder too,  of your eyes when they glaze
and you whisper to the gods of those sins
that made you more mortal than you were before
and how you envied those evenings of eve

when she was the more of serpentine inclined

Strong and erotic, DS, with loads of sensual symbols and images.  I walked away from this one breathing just a tad heavily.  Sweet last line.

I am spellbound by the picture and the words again. To open these poetic and artistic treasures is like stepping into sacred space and being offered a magical interpretation of what caught your eye and your imagination.

Truly amazing stuff!

You are just blowing me out of the blue water with your poetry!

Gosh D~  This is so picturesque, your poem captures the shimmer glisten
and smoothes the underside of the wind that ripples beneath the surface.

Love this moolit rhapsody you wrote.
