Shivered Proclivity Breath, slow and shallow Misted thought, slickened sound Reward like apple wine Color has washed its whisper from the trees Floating unencumbered to the ground Dilated blue-green, the sight as yet unseen Have then I become forgotten Nor shall I be recalled to silent nights Feel me, as the wind that strokes Iridescent touch befall, jeweled regard come call These times connect us in the rhymes And I resume content in your keeping Love, so surely not gone sleeping Crackle in the air of autumn crisp You are my one true heart, as I am song Sacred and ever air bonds us to the fall And here; breath, slow and shallow Do I decorate your flanks, willow and silk And do, we dance beside rippling clarity Time and certain tide Copyright Kkh 10/24/09 |
