I am from the season of memories where lilac scents filled the air depending on when and where the breeze was blowing on any given day a place where the suns golden rays shone down on apple blossoms covered in dew and when each new day held journeys anew. Orchards stretched out for miles and miles and days passed by so full of smiles. I traveled down roads where Autumn brought the most beautiful scenes, then melded into snow drifts untouched, lovely and pristine; the cycles of life circled round and round until they brought me to this place that I've found where the simplest of joys bring me such peace, where seasons of memories are not released but rather, are cherished deep in the heart because they are truly an intricate part of where I have been and all the things I have seen. Where I'm from will always be held in spirit, inside of me. {repost from an old Pip challenge} "In yearning for nothing, you will be free to enjoy what you do, free to see the patterns, free to hear the music in all things." -Barbara Ann Kipfer |

These words emit such a harmonious tune while being read that I saw myself almost floating through the seasons of memories together with you, admiring the view. Wonderful write! I am happy you brought it back for us to enjoy, dear Donna. Love, Margherita |

Gentle Spirit: this work speaks to my soul. Your lines "...the cycles of life circled round and round until they brought me to this place that I've found where the simplest of joys bring me such peace,..." perfectly describe my life (and outlook) today. Many thanks for a peaceful and beautiful work. Jim Sutra 25: Remember that a pile of ordure is simply that: Seek not to give it meaning. |

Donna, I don't remember this so am delighted you brought it back. It is a soothing and comforting piece, like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a chilly morning. |
