Fair to middlin' of nowhere

He is my trellis
And I the vine
A delicate thing
At the mercy of the wind
Dancing flaming petals incessantly
And should I lose him
My fate to befall
The accursed earth
A blooming briar
Twisted in pain
Beauty
Overgrown
With
Grief

I have saved this one to my personal disk.
Wow, what a great poem.
It should be in every child's literature book.
What a talent you have!

Thank you so much for your amazing vote of confidence in this piece of work-you literally hatched my goose egg. I was afraid every one was reading it as goose poo! Bless your heart and thanks again. ~L

Oh. My. Goodness.  The first four lines blew my mind.  I absolutely loved this beautiful piece of art!
