If you look for the fight,
want roam on horseback,
to saw bars, if you want
to play the poker or to drink a whiskey,
may be there is a reason?
An unfortunate childhood,
the treason of an ideal or
an urge to take advantage of the life,
ask you the good question,
may be you had an uncle in Dallas
or watched too much westerns,
or may be that a woman lied to you?
The women smell good,
then is it the syndrome of Texas,
too many virile lads around you?

Hello Martiniat, I am a little provocative here, so in my opinion, you take advantage of life and you are so right, you seem to me like a character of movie (because of your job), it must be great to lead poker tournament, I am impressed, but hey I will take care of it. be quiet on the whiskey my friend.

regards

yann

I lived in Houston for five years, the real old fashion "Texans" I saw were really Mexicans Just 'displaced' as they say.

Beautifully captured.

Nice take on "the Texas Syndrome" 2islander2.  I do, however, think that much of the syndrome is folk myth.  You have taken that myth and treated it, tongue in cheek, to a 100 proof taste of reality.
Cheers
