she had two hands just for the holding
so it was that two men seemed ok too
between just us friends she always said
when she took our things for granted

and granted we didn't mind what she did
with the things we made available
even those times when she didn't keep track
of which thing went with which

it seemed we would always feel we had plenty
of what she had to offer when she offered
and it was always there for the taking it seemed
as one was coming the other was going

and with all things being equal she said
she just always wanted to have a little more
than what she could handle quite easily
so it was I guess we just stayed that way

at least until she was sore at both of us
