In my hermit’s cave, Not so dim and dank, Where I rant and rave; Where emotions sank. I look out at all Princes and peasants, And try to recall Where my life was spent. The bottom is close Barely a step now, For I sank not rose; I care not the how. A bird flies away From its roosting place To the mundane day, A pain I can’t face. Peasant and the King Neither rules the sky They can’t stop clocks ring Or tax birds that fly. Gloom Inspired by Zhang Jiuling 673 China |

They can’t stop clocks ring Or tax birds that fly. How very true! I like this melancholy write, Gloomy one! *S* |

"I look out at all Princes and peasants, And try to recall Where my life was spent." Sometimes I wonder if we all don't in some ways try to recall where life has passed us by at. A pleasure to read you again Proff. ~D |
