Giving syllabic's another shot. 9,7,9,7 pattern. (P.S. When I said "deaf whispering" I was describing the whisper. Not literately someone who's deaf whispering. Hahaha. Just wanted to clear that up. oh and I didn't mean to make the last stanza rhyme. Force of habit.:P ) Autumn Memories Hear the deaf whispering in the wind? Leaves singing their melodies As they dance upon billowing gusts The autumn air crisp for snow Silhouetting tree's stand high and proud As the dark creeps and reaches It's smothering down the afternoon sun Evening daylight in its grip The veil of night covers city streets Under its fabric; pin hole stars shine Thread lacing the slender moon up high While moon casts his silver line |

I'm glad you did what you didn't mean to do. *G* The rhyme in the last stanza is beautiful and makes that my favorite verse in a wonderful poem. *S* |
