we were now afternoons in maple leaves
making our shadows into dancing lovers
beside mouthfulls of leather river laughter

I had known your breasts with my eyes
how they were the greek key of dreams
to be strummed on moan chord mornings

when we both wore our sensitive side out
and kept those lovely sounds on our lips
then pressed them against and into each other

so we could devour the other side of our love

What incredible images... both the photo and the ones your words paint! *S*

DS your poetry is so vivid, when I've finished running my eyes over and over it, I feel like smoking a cigarette.~L

I adore this in its whole, picture too. When you don't post new poems, I must go diving and I am ever so happy to have found this marvel.

Another sensual adventure for your readers, DS.  Strong sense of emotion here, but then... that's what you do!
Well done, Stranger.
Peace
Jim

"when we both wore our sensitive side out"

Wonderfully profound, you paint beauty in layers.
