these are the windless sighed meanderings when morning is a swallow of fog water faster then the throat makes available but slow enough to enjoy the drowning oceans are newsprint wrinkled under skies like a mans hands before he dies of old when leather is growing over his youth and his tattoos have lost their eye sight the metal one is still my god, for another day she leads me into her bosom as if she were lonely and my never had enough can heal her heart ache even if only with this spoke stitched sewing we search for holes in the skin of night to press our faces through into tomorrow but there are strings attached to gypsy shoes to trip the dancers when they climb their ladders lest they find that heaven is only many windows ________________ daark (highway series)Kanan is a road down to Malibu from the 101..a scooterman's thrill ride sometimes.. |

first time I've read you, know it won't be the last. Your turns of phrase become an obscure reference I didn't realize I could relate to. I loved the ride. |

oceans are newsprint wrinkled under skies like a mans hands before he dies of old when leather is growing over his youth and his tattoos have lost their eye sight ~*~ May you always know the tastes of metal, warmth, and wild. |

First, what a shock to open this up and see that incredible art. I am swiping it when I get home to steal it. Second, I don't often quote parts of poems that I like the best .. but this time, I have to single out this: these are the windless sighed meanderings when morning is a swallow of fog water faster then the throat makes available but slow enough to enjoy the drowning oceans are newsprint wrinkled under skies like a mans hands before he dies of old when leather is growing over his youth and his tattoos have lost their eye sight the metal one is still my god, for another day she leads me into her bosom as if she were lonely and my never had enough can heal her heart ache even if only with this spoke stitched sewing we search for holes in the skin of night to press our faces through into tomorrow but there are strings attached to gypsy shoes to trip the dancers when they climb their ladders lest they find that heaven is only many windows ________________ I loved it all. Hey, DS. You paint broad strokes and vivid colours with your words. I start off reading a poem, and end up woven into your tapestry. Midnitesun sums it up when she says "Wow." Namaste Jim Sutra 3: See your reality for what it is, not for what you think it is: this is the first step to making your reality what you wish it to be. |
