I'll give you love, Because loves not free, Pay the price with a broken heart, Just so you can see, Open those eyes to the world around you, Maybe you won't be so dumb when I found you, Bad word, not dumb, only for some, Every other is what other claims not to be, Livin in a life of utter corruption, Of a nation with such consumption, Never full, nor never dull, It's hittin you harder then a rock to the skull, Yet you don't know, Blind to the sun as blind can be, Claim love, happiness, and peace, What about the ones who gotta carry the piece? The gun, You blame them, With everything under the sun, When they alone only hold whats under the moon, Light and dark, just wishing for a spark to light the way, So feel good, live your life, Do what you can, but live your life, Like a tiger, a native warrior you see yourself, The last of a bloodline just be yourself, No glory in paying your time, Consider it a climber, Just playing the line. "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Oscar Wilde |
