I'm so scared for you and I
I'm not ready for good bye
We have been together long
Losing you would feel so wrong

I am scared that it is true
They will tell us that it grew
It's so hard to just stay strong

Maybe it will be benign

Thank you. This poem comes from the fear that I've been experiencing because we're awaiting the results of my girlfriend's needle biopsy to find out if she has breast cancer. I don't know what I would do if I lost her.

Thank you both for your support. We may have results as early as tomorrow, but as late as next week. Waiting is turning out to be the hardest part.

Thank you all for your support. We still haven't heard from the doctor but we will be seeing him on Thursday, so if there's no news by then, we'll ask him about it.
