Stare When you stare at me I do not know the intention This sends me to frustration Each gaze sets a nerve So much that it starts to twitch Each second feeling like judgement A judgement I cannot avoid So I stand with you questioning Questioning your true intension Your true reason For holding this gaze On this very spot that I happen to be Every second of the silence Sends me to deliberation Wondering what will be my next movement Again feeling like a court's decision I think with hesitation Is it life or freedom? Now the collision of your gaze and silence Results in my impatience and defiance So I send you ammunition Waiting for the explosive resolution But still, your silent gaze Fails to be overthrown So I drop my defensive stance And walk on...Still questioning |

thoughtful Amalie, stare can be dangerous and make work the mind into confusion, this is an authentic poem, a piece of life that is important. Thanks for the poem. yann |
