inexplicable blues shadow me tonight drawing me deeper into a place where I normally don’t go so I just sit quietly and read enjoying the parade of words that march across the page of my book like a muted marching band stepping in perfect synchronization I applaud their achievements and remain silent in appreciation of their orchestrated movement as I share in the joy of expression - Alison |

hello Alison, I love the expression of the poem, the sympathy around books and the atmosphere of knowledge about the world when aa person plunges itself in books, your poem is so well crafted and give deep thoughts to the reader. thanks yann |

sometimes I read the ingredients on items in the cupboard...not as much drama as a good book, but I always know how it will end.. |

like a muted marching band stepping in perfect synchronization Such a beautiful write of melancholy... Is there enough in that cup to share a sip? *S* |

Dear Alison, I hope you are not too sad my friend, I am glad you can find comfort in a good book which takes you to another place for a while. Enjoyed the poem, miss your photo though. Take care and try to laugh at life hey. Rick |

Ida, Thank you. I get over them fast. Sometimes the blues are like are like a rainy day - the view is cloudy and the best thing is to settle in with a good book until the storm blows over. xoxoxo A - yann, Thank you. I love your responses as much as I love your poetry. You always strike me as such a kind person. Alison - DS, Ya know. You made me laugh - and I know that is just what you meant to do. A - CG, Thanks for drinking with me. It is so much better than drinking alone. A - suthern, I always have some to share with you. Thank you for smiling and stopping by. xoxoxo Alison - Rick, Thank you. Your reply warmed me right up. Alison - N, Thank you so much. A - Yep, Sue ... sometimes it ain't that great a place to be - but the view is beautiful when the blues wash away. A - martiniat8, I am so glad that you do. Thank you loads. A |
