even though I'm an adult, I am a kid at heart

As I sit and think about days to come
I hear the song I used to sing so many years ago
I now let the words go through my mind today
and flash backs of my child hood replay

The perfect moments I love to remember
for they make me giggle like a young child
running through sprinklers on a sunny day
making huge sand castles at the beach

Playing with GI Joe's and action figures
These toys made me feel cool like my brothers
and also Playing with dress ups and barbie dolls
for thos toys made me feel pretty as a princess

Now that I'm all grown up, an adult
I shouldn't play with toys anymore
I should go to work and live the way they do
but no matter what they say I'm a kid at heart

so if you want to be a kid at heart too
get the work done and, then have some fun
