When Will She Smile Again? |

When will it be, For her to smile again? When will it be, For the sun to shine again? She wakes up each day, Feeling vast emptiness, A black hole Not caring about anything or anyone, Not knowing what she is going to do today, Does it matter, Whether she lives or dies? Is today any different, From any other day? No Why would it be? She doesn't even feel hungry, Or even too much pain But some times the numbness, Keeps coming back again And for some brief moment, She feels nothing Perhaps it's better this way And then all of sudden, Tears comes rushing down her face The deep grinding pain, Ripping through her heart again -- Dedicated to my dear friend who'd lost her son recently. 10/2/2009 |
