Fate brought you to me once,
not so long ago, now again,
full circle, you arrive,
knocking at my hearts door,

The light was left on,
glowing, a candle lit,
to one day safely guide you,
home where you should be,

Love takes flight,
upon its journey,
but like a bird,
it comes back,

Upon my hearts window sill,
you land, hungry, empty,
starving for soul food,
my hand reaches for you,

Feeding you with poets words,
words of happiness and love,
you seem content now,
perched you sit,

In the lovers tree,
where I am sitting beside you,
our love nest,
happily we sing together,

where never a cage,
nor anything will stop,
the freedom of our love,
two white doves,

The symbol of pure love.
