It's Friday in September and the rain came again- it brought me a poem like a long lost friend. And just as I was sitting here it became Monday in October- the rain turned to snow and I gave up being sober. The garden is gone now. The creek is much colder. Just in the past year, I've grown 50 years older. I know I can't go on much longer, for looking over my shoulder. Sometimes I wonder why he came to take me off the battered road, when I was struggling to walk with the wind when it blowed.... I'm lost now here within October, 40 years old and minus the shoulder. dont know what is worst- jail or death which will come first? |

Dear Dixie, I see you are in a very dark moment of melancholy. Your poem renders this mood strongly. You have achieved so many things these past months. You have published books, you have worked in your garden, you have brought joy to others. You have your youth and the maturity to reorganize your life, if it does not suit you. But right now, absorb the wonderful autumn colors and inhale the fresh air and ... dance. It might be a sad dance in certain moments, but it will activate the spirit of life and the gratitude of BEING. May you be able to make the best of your freedom. Love and hugs. Margherita |
