Dear Mr. Jack Wetherby, I shall write this to you, as it is noon my time of day, the sun is peeking into my garden, May I remind you, of your visit, I do miss your witty little gestures, the raising of the brow, in distaste, I must say, I do admire the dents in your face, The hand that writes to you, is somewhat more relaxed, it still bares the kiss, the one you left upon it. Your conversation remains, as well as the smile, oh how you do pleasure my mind, hard pressed into my memory, I wish to share another meeting, how long before you arrive again?, the dance underneath twillight stars, cheek to cheek, burns my heart, Please come to Covington Manor soon, or my poor pitiful little heart, shall surely wither and die, now that is no way to treat a lady, It is with great sincereity, I write these words to you, as if they were, my very last, please know you have stolen my heart, bring it with you, upon our next meeting, a kiss shall be your reward. With Love, Lady Victoria |
