I'M HERE FOR YOU I feel your sadness Oh how can I take away your tears You are truly one incredible mother Who's been through so much in all those years My dearest dearest Lisa I don't know what to say Oh so much tragedy Has finally come your way I wish I could take some of your misery And share part of your deep wrenching pain I wish that God would somehow reject him in heaven And brings him back to us again I wish I can just come right over And tell you that everything is alright I wish I can just do something, anything Or just to hold you tight I know you just want to be alone right now To try and make sense of what's going on To try and answer the many 'why' questions And how to ever move on I wish you will eventually find some comfort In knowing that you did your best But there was nothing that anyone could've done for our little angel And now he lays to rest I'm sure he knows how much he was loved by you He had the best Mummy in the whole wide world Who would trade her life for him if she could If only that was possible I know that no one can take away your suffering Or even really feel your pain But I want you to know that I'm here for you Waiting for you to get back on your feet again -- Dedicated to my dear friend, who'd recently lost her son (7 years old). I still haven't heard from her, I'm heart-broken. |

I can hardly breathe after reading this heart-wrenching poem, dear meljo. Unbearable pain for a mother's heart! Sadly it is an experience that still happens, even if less often than in other times when there were no cures yet for more illnesses ... You wrote this with your heart and certainly your friend will receive this energy of love that you are emitting. Welcome to Pip! Love, Margherita |

There is no greater pain than the loss of one's child. The emotional scars run deep and often last a lifetime. The edges of the pain can soften over the years, but the empty ache never goes away completely. Thankfully time can be one's friend. I have a tremendous amount of compassion for what your friend is experiencing. Although I have experienced a miscarriage, I have not personally lost a child. However, my sister lost an infant daughter and a teenage son. She had also been hit by a hit-and-run driver that ran up onto the sidewalk when she was 7 months pregnant with twins ~ She lost the twins as well. My cousin lost her 8 year-old daughter to leukemia and my husband (now ex) lost his 9 year-old nephew to brain cancer. What I have suffered over these losses cannot compare to that of the mothers and fathers who lost those precious children. Your warmth and compassion for your friend's loss, were quite apparent as I read this compelling poem. Your debuting poem certainly packed an emotional punch! Giving you a warm, welcoming pip hug and my love and prayers to your friend. Love & Eternal Light, EA |

Meljo, My heart goes out to your friend and my prayers are with her, her family, yourself and friends. Your words touched me deeply. There is someone in my life that I love dearly that is going through so much pain and heartbreak. There is not a day that goes by that I don't wish that I could "make things better"... Your love, compation and prayers for your friend go a lot further in healing her then you realize. I will keep you in my prayers, Hugs, Lorenn |

Your words would definately be a comfort for anyone going through such a loss, Meljo. Such a heart-wrenching loss. Your care and concern comes through with much love in each line. Nicely written. Best wishes, /Kit |

Thank you so much for everyone's kind words. Some how, I feel like I've lost a child. I feel so much for my best friend, I've been writing a poem a day, I will post another one tomorrow. I don't know what I would do if I lost my kids (I have two under 5). |
