Lost boy runnin' in a hurricane. It burns like fire and it smells like rain again. He lies awake wonderin' in the dead of night; Can't they see that somethin' just ain't right Do they see the tears flowin' deep behind steel eyes, or hear his silent cries; his silent cries? Do they know what it's like to hide the pain of ice flowin' through your veins; when do or die is all the same? Do they know how it feels to live your life never knowing why you still stand up and fight? Lost boy lookin at his empty soul. He prayed for heaven but he still feels like hell. Lost boy wonderin' why his heart's so cold. Is there any mercy for the wounded soul? Did they see his heart breaking when he realized that he couldn't fly; he couldn't fly. Do they know what it's like to hide the pain of ice flowin through your veins; when do or die is all the same? Do they know what it's like to play a cruel game; still caught in a hurricane with no one left to take the blame? Still lost in a hurricane. I kept wondering why that frisbee kept getting bigger and bigger....and then it hit me. |

Zaac, I found myself singing the lyrics to a soulful melody in my head. May the 'lost boy' find his inner strength and be able to withstand all of life's hurricanes. A moving read. Linda |
