rincon was still there again this morning
curled on her side with her back to the sand
perhaps sleeping lightly or just pretending
that she didn't know the sound of my leather
when my heart makes my arm reach to wave

I could see her outline against moon windows
the curve of her tides and sculpt of her waves
and then the sounds of her breathing
like a lover ocean kissing smooth stones
rhythmic as seduction is to the finger tips

I know she will see my boot prints at her hem
when she brings the dawn in to place it on hangers
and acts playfully surprised that she was not alone
but had her predictable voyeur as her guardian sky
like she knew she would each and every evening

as she dons her gauzy gown and night dances

Okay, waltz in with the beauty of your poetry and seduce my imagination - sheese, I think I need to ban your words from early morning readings.  You make me want to go back to bed.

soft boot sounds travel
to bathyal depths, where sirens

Ms indi. There are sirens there often when the waves are too large and they swallow unsuspecting surfers. Thanks lady!!

~ I completely understand this...

Sensuously scribed, Stranger.

How comes I missed this gorgeous sparkling gem of a poem?

It is such an intense pleasure to get lost in your words.

D, she dances so beautifully under your gaze.
She is lovely, as are your gifts of words to her.  These writes have always been some of my favorite of yours.  (I said, some.   )
Enjoyed it babe.

Your words resonate in the night sky, around her curves,
and with every wave that breaks there is that rush!!!

But you know D~,  it is the tides that change and remain the same...always~~~
that leaves a beauty mark on your coastal poetry.

Whoa, DS, another magical mystery tour of moonlight, beauty, leather, and departure.  Finely crafted and poignant piece, with some very memorable lines.  Thank you, Stranger.
