A Heart – Unstruck Floundering in the murky grey Between the clouds of tears Fighting back with all my strength Wading through my fears Trying to find the trodden path Where my feet will find sure ground Stepping over rocks and stones When time will turn around Healing wounds with baby steps To reveal a heart unstruck Capturing the vivid blues Instead of murky muck Seeing light instead of dark In a darkened world Finding hope and light and love A new life now unfurled |
