little eyes |

She sat with her father on the bench. her brown, danish hair leaning over her eyes, As her legs continuously swung off the park bench. He was reading her the story of Egypt. his gray, brownish hair besieged between their two faces, his slightly curled nose, curved like hers and they sat with an infinite calmness. Each sentence read, she opened her mouth a bit wider, a bit softer, as the pigeons chased for food, she listened intently, unguarded, her eyes modeling the blue backs of each pigeon around them. They sat, sat so closely, as if their lives were shaded onto an empty page of a crisp innocence of a father with her daughter, little eyes that followed. |
