Everyone else
Is asleep

The weekend
For late night maneuvers
Or movies the mornings
Lost in bed

Out of context
With the time
Three men
Load up their cars

That cough
Like camels being stirred

The dawn
Sung in by doves

So vivid and so promising. Dawn rendered with such charm. Beautiful, John!

Thank you both

I did the math
They're gone

They were my friends

Thanks again

John

Poignant, heartfelt.
So sorry about your loss.
