Softening the blows of an indifferent day, the harsh edges that threaten to unravel fragile frayed seams of life, leaving me panting, chanting Nawang...Nawang...Nawang... Listening tonight in raptured delight to 'In a Distant Place' Nakai, Eaton, Clipman, Nawang, music that transports my spirit wrapped gratefully in the warmth of a crescendo of tightly tumbled sounds echoing from majestic rugged mountain peaks, K2 ear-bud notes, sheer joyfulness Himalayan style crisscrossing and blending with Native American and Tibetan flutes, harp guitar, lyre, mandolins, drums... each emulating nature’s gifts from birds, rivers, deserts, plains, plateaus and all that does grace the face of Gaia. Surround me with the harmonies of the universe, steep my pores in enlightenment and wonderment. Immerse me in the touch and feel of all life, all that is sublime and sacred, however fleeting its existence. Fire the ebony skies with ethereal exploding rainbows of harmony. Ride the milky way, sit the stars... and dream. Dream...of all the wonderful things you’d do if you could do them all. |

ohhh Kacy, I love this, so peaceful and serene as I find so much of your writing to be. I was recently introduced to the music of Janet Spahr via her CD "listen with your eyes closed" where she plays a hang drum and it is also, a very relaxing cd, so in tune with nature. It is ALWAYS a treat to read you hon!! I'm so glad I could get in here tonight, you've made it well worth my trip. Hugs lady! |

I'm the lucky one, to find you in here tonight. Glad you could visit and share your gifts, and 'sit the stars' tonight. |

Fire the ebony skies with ethereal exploding rainbows of harmony. Ride the milky way, sit the stars... and dream. Dream...of all the wonderful things you’d do if you could do them all. I love these lines. Dreaming of all the wonderful things I'd do if I could do them all is quite a long dream. lol |

If I had the gift of time to do what I wanted for hours on end, spending it reading your poetry, would be a delicious luxury that has me smiling happily at the thought of it. Smiles (you see!!!) Owl |

LOL, Craig, I love caramel. Hmm, caramel lattes, caramel candies, warm caramel sauce over vanilla ice cream. Caramel covered popcorn....uh oh, now I'm craving a caramel something-or-other! |

I can almost imagine myself dreaming away on a mountain top, tribal music in the background, and simply be content to be able to dream... and oh what dreams may come! Great piece! |
