Sometimes all we have to weigh
upon the scale of life
Is one small measured bit of hope
To comfort all the strife

Hope can follow on our path
No matter where we roam
Faith is father of our hope
An makes your heart its home

Faith would anchor all our hope
To deep and solid ground
Hope can still a quaking earth
But faith is more profound

Hope stays by an open window
Leaving us at will
Faith has no desire to leave
And perches on the sill

Dear Elizabeth ,

That you are a special and rare person can be understood by your poems.I love reading them and today you have touched a raw spot as I lost my best friend because I lost my faith in him .It is hurting ,anyway lovely poem.

Liz, you are and always have been such an inspiration to me. This is a great poem. I hang onto my hope, and have faith that some day my hopes will come true.

Yes, having hope is a beautiful thing and to have Faith in what you believe in is amazing.

This was beautiful, thank you for this. I'm hoping everyone gets a little boost of Faith in this write.
