Popped out for a smoke and the hot summer breeze blew him down to the corner pub to order a yummy frozen fruity drink to cool a tepid tongue across the patio two tempting trollops flipped their hair and a wisp of a smile sitting uninterested, alone with the need for a date for a movie ticket on morrow's eve He invisioned himself with one of the two torrid temptresses that were more suited to a sleezy sticky theater He thought, been there done that that type of girl does not suit, nor satisfy the melancholy clouds have cleared the mind of this middle aged man as the sunshine skies scorch acceptance of circumstance and the matter of facts as they be as they may a wanderer out of place who shall wander far from here as merrily as a man might manage... |
