My friends... (sigh) my friends, say they want to see me drunk and I... I... don't drink that often mostly with new friends, people I don't know well people that aren't looking to me, but curious about themselves ah, the blessing and curse of the Virgp The Cassandra Effect I get relaxed enough. bold enough to say what I see to size things up for them for me I give them my vision my description of what I see being vague enough to let them make of it, what they will and always, always... usually someone will catch me off guard and ask me what's MY story and I look away to gather myself take a deep breath and say... "I am what I am" and that's all I can be I put relationships, people feelings in perspective leaving them elbow room but as for me... (sigh) Aa for me I hear a song lyric or catch a line of a stranger's conversation and it echoes tears begin to well I step out I step away pace too close for comfort gather myself as for me... If there is anyone for me It comes down to a few questions Will I let you look in my eyes and are you strong enough to see just Brad... just me |
