           dreamer’s moon

we are called different but never
  ‘special’ …
those of us who are powerless
to embrace the ‘normal’ of life
   or love’s perfection,
condemned to walk alone
among gathering hosts of
   indifferent shadows,
into a last tremulous night
under the dreamer’s moon.

You are a holder of a very poetic pen. I think this time you deserve the sustained applause you so generously give to others here on Pip! Very sad and emotion filled

YOur title drew me in and your gentle  thoughts tugged at my "normal" tender heart.

You are a "special" poet indeed, Bruce, and this is one of your very best.
