Tip Toe Touch

The pattered rain foregone again to moist twilight
By filtered moon, as smiling threads of silver slight
Oh tap of time, a quiet storm that brews inside
As ne’er forgotten, etchings raised by heart abide

Postured to the open book and worthy breeze
Cascading fleet of imaged rites just as I please
Indent of dance speaks fingers nimble to be quick
In cadence soft, the value of collected hours tick

And might the whispered sighs of night prevail
Left message moving through the air enchanted tale
Imbued with but the faithful trace of tapping time
So subtle graze impart my thoughts in tender mime

While swaying pine implores to drink the pattered rain
Kept secretly, such conversations do ordain
Each endless hour filled with faith that you will know
A tip toe touch sent on the winds in carnal glow

Kathleen - just tip toe touch away.  This is wonderful - I felt the mood and just relaxed into your words and atmosphere.

Stanza 1 drew me in immediately – a moment captured in a verse.  And I read on, and drew pleasure from your words. And the final couplet: such a fine end, such a pleasure to read.

Many Thanks,
