Tired of dreaming Cutting swords, harsh words, Bloodshed, people dead, Walking on a vacant train, eyes with great pain, Pumpkins jump, a walking stump. Monsters chase, I can’t keep pace, Shut doors, waterless shores, Feeling sick in my mind, feeling blind, It seems like I am lost... Tired of dreaming, tired of screaming, Tired of your games, tired of calling names, Lies, deceit, anger, I am tired of your games, Tired of dreaming, tired of screaming. Thorns that prick, boots that kick, Floors that crack, days are black, Broken ceiling, can’t stop this feeling, A heart that’s bleeding, a path misleading. Kids fighting on the streets, poisoned weeds, Helpless tears, humiliated, needless fears, Closet of bones, a little girl moans, Black horses running, eye that’s cunning. Tired of dreaming, tired of screaming, Tired of your games, tired of calling names, Lies, deceit, anger, I am tired of your games, Tired of dreaming, tired of screaming. I am tired of dreaming, tired of screaming.... @Prasad.N 1st September 2009. All rights reserved to Prasad.N "Hardwork pays in the long run" |

Prasad, you have seen the unthinkable ~ the unspeakable. However, you have been able to write about it with painful clarity and passion. ~ May the screaming be replaced by pleasant dreaming. Linda |

Yo Prasad, I know what you mean in thiss poem. I had recurring night horrors when I was young. I've given them up. This poem is well done. Bobby |

Powerful write, dear Prasad. I do understand your wish to get rid of such nightmares. Maybe a short meditation and prayer and the visualization of clear, transparent, serene light before falling asleep will help to have happier dreams. I know what you write about. It happens rarely to me, but it happens. Just recently I literally fell of the bed while fighting a strange creature in a dream. I screamed while making a big physical effort to get rid of its disquieting grip.... and then I woke up in pain on the floor, stunned! That was truly disconcerting! And the bruises were big and painful! Wishing you serene dreams and tranquil nights! Love, Margherita |

Hi Dear Margherita, Surely I will try these tips before I sleep. It does happen to all of us I know, if not frequently, sometimes may be. Thank you for sharing your experience too, it does help.
