Untrodden paths of desire

* * *

Your youth
forges desires
of new adventures
and elicits songs
of unknown resonance
opening all the doors
to paradise,
slowly, one by one,
just for you,
to dance through.

With gentleness
and power
you create
magnetic attraction,
smiles and cries,
spontaneous replies
to blushing
bouquets of whys.

In the milky mist
of untrodden paths of desire
your boldness meanders
with nonchalance
through hidden labyrinths
of silken ponds,
gifts of the night.

Smooth and rough
hills of delight
offer sighs
from stunned flowers
blooming in moonlight.

And dawn finds you,
son of the sun,
in poignant abandon,
glued to your dunes
glistening in pink hues.
Your voice
of primal purity,
mingles harmoniously
with the choir of birds,
while awareness spreads
its blanket of glory
over Mother Earth,
who stretches and sighs
into the skies of blue,
smiling her most
dazzling smile,
just for you.

Man, I wish I knew where one of the untrodden paths were, I would walk right down it in a New York second. Is there someone you are thinking of when you wrote this?
Nice write!!!

After reading the poem, I went back and read it again. You can never tell that english is not your native tongue! You write beautifully and elegantly. The message that beams radiant light in your first stanza only opens many more to the next. This, my friend, is one of my favorites.
