Conflicts

I spent the first
part of my life
in conflicts,
not knowing
how to love,
not knowing
how to care.
My world was
dark and bleak,
void of the feelings
I wished to share.

It could be said that life
is full of conflicts.
Some you have control over
and some you don't,
some you will succeed to change
and some you won't.

There always comes a time to move on.
Read Proverbs for practical wisdom.
Find someone to love and care for.
Acceptance is the cure for those
that practice criticism.
Appreciation is to be thankful
for what you have, while depreciation
is to lower the value of.
Forgiveness is easier to give
when we understand that we ourselves
are as imperfect as anyone else.
