When dreaming from this world I fly
Away, away from day of real
From bodies hold I wave goodbye
To search and find my hearts fulfil

In day life gives its ups and downs
In battle we survive till end
We wear the joy and hardship crowns
While braving what dear fate does send

The mind it wavers off the path
In wonder seeing more than be
While daydream with its voice may laugh
The truth of day we all must see

The hours pass, but long they seem
Till daylight fades and peace the night
I rest to sleep and then the dream
That brings me peace and heart’s delight

Sometimes it doesn't matter how we live out our dreams.  Loved this one for its gentle message Rick.

Very beautiful, dear Rick. Dreams, whether during the night or throughout the days, help us to find balance, I am sure. And they also can project us into very real deeds ...

Love,
Margherita

Dear Margherita, always so very lovely to see you here my friend, dreamland is so free from daily troubles and full of beauty seeds, each time I visit one grows into an adventure and wonderful time.

Margherita said it first, I also think day dreams or night dreams are indeed made to help perfect our world. Lovely thoughts from you as always.   latearrical.

I dare to dream!

My dreams ~ both day and night ~ are in technicolour. Even problems that I have during my waking hours can be solved in my dreams. Before I go to sleep at night, I try to put myself in a beautiful place and visualize the beauty around me. It helps me have pleasant dreams.

I thoroughly enjoyed your 'dreamy' poem, dear Rick!

Sweet dreams!

Dreams are always fun to explore. I myself am a guy who loves to dream. Even if I have a nightmare, I seem to love to explore more in the depths. Loved this, Rick. Your poetry has been missed over here.

Geesh Rick, I do not think I have read any of your peosm here on Pip because I am new.  But I will certainly be going back to read many more.  This poem was just wonderful!

Actually, I just wrote a poem a couple of days ago on a subject similar for my new book "Gentle Tugs; life, love and other addictions"  I will post it in a few days.  We were certainly thinking along the same vein
