momma mary j grew up under the blue gun tree hunted the dove birds with her marlin 22 and fished with the nitro bottle bangers momma mary j had her bible from granny's grave and read the proverbs out loud to drunken men had to shake em too sometimes lest they die said the spirit slew them as a sign on occasion or she just smote their jaw herself, gods work and not fair that we always take his blessings so momma mary j did all the helping she could the dope boys said she put lye in their noses she said they shouldn't sniff the cleanin powder and gave their souls all the healin they needed ______________ daark (highway series) scribblenote: partial legend..partial true..I used to watch her hunt birds with a 22 and fish with dynamite..and she did smack a few jaws when the lords name was taken in vane..and...well enough said. |

Incredibly vivid and greatly entertaining! What a character! Though she sounds frightening you added shades of color that allow sympathy and smiles to be sent her way. The "lye" and "cleaning powder" part made me chuckle, I am sure though that momma mary j was a blessing to those guys. and ...? Much enjoyed! Love, Margherita  |

Loved this! The images and the story line are great..I have to agree what a character she was....this could almost be made into a spiritual gospel song....truly enjoyed...ps |
