close to the vest, these cards I hold
best in privacy, can and do unfold

and do not think of your last addition
for in your presence I seek admission
the words like movies pour fruition
take heed and hear my new rendition

for if I voiced a comment make
t'would form a tryst, a conquest fake
by foes and friends for selfish sake
I read synposis for the take

for by the pool
you did request
a reading from
this beating breast

for "In Her Shoes", I did do read
of romance, sorrow, and mourning feed
of Claire's clear view
I do not swoo
poetry lovers
and friends renew

and to my list add with permission
