Under the surface, within the mind A connection forms synapses fire Neurons trigger sensory overload Of which we never tire Physical suffering and pleasure All begin deep within the brain Letting loose the sensual flood That comes like electric rain The gates opened, levees breached As the torrents crash and cascades Finding all the pathways That between us our minds have made Impulses given to highest peak Off the charts and then the currents flow To calm the tides in lowest ebb We see all, in each mind’s afterglow |
