Drifting the Mind

Seafaring waters call to me,
storm cloud shadows stealing my heart
Tip toeing edge waters taunting
Thunder heads roll, let loose your rain.

Replenish the earths roiling tears
draw near the rocks sand surfing tide.
Soul of the sea calls in my dreams
haunting sounds promise melody

What lies beneath mysteries untold
wager of men who have sailed her.
Battered and embattled stories,
drifting are the winds of my mind.
