Descending veil cloaking Gahe's gentle drum Echoes through hills as Nature- Gods reach spreading diamonds across a native sky They kneel, exploring Legends of ones-ancient Begging prayer to know where ends the spirit, and soul begins Solitary-divine Bending nature In this ne're green pasture of lore Encantations thrown from heaven, and returned to a universe of saving grace as the morning star rises Comments: In the Zuni Native American Culture, the Gahe are spirits that live in the mountains and foretell the devestation of Planet Earth |

Beautiful write and photo. The New Mexico skyline at sunrise/sunset is always awesome, as are the many legends that live in those canyons and hills. |

The whole poem was really awesome, but I liked this in particular- "Begging prayer to know where ends the spirit, and soul begins" Not many people understand that there's even a difference between the two. It shows that you give alot of meaningful thought to meaningful subjects. ·´~`·»Brett«·´~`· |

I love Zuni rings for their spirit, and understand their devotion to Mother Nature. Your words are blessed with the spirits that write the wind's mind of a poet teaching a reader. |

Hi Jan....I know that you love to write of the Native American culture, but have never heard of "Zuin" is that what it is? Probably spelled it wrong...anyway, this was just awe inspiring....huggs, peaceseaker.... |
