The world changes every minute, new faces in the street, new roses at dawn lose its colors and the sun making innocent circles in my heart, what I think during a day, I will not think the next morning. The world changes like second hands of a clock, never there, never here, like trains always in move, thoughts in a hurry, deep melancholies strayed by moon, World changes every minute and shivers, it works for me as a love song, never there, never here, hungry colours in your hands, world changes the world. Hello, Yann the Man! ~ And how are you today? ~ Certainly different from the way you were yesterday and different from the way you will be tomorrow! lol ~ But hopefully your beautiful essence will remain as beautiful tomorrow as it is today! The only constant in our lives is change! Linda [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (08-08-2009 09:53 PM).] |

A very interesting post Yann, and I think you are not far off the mark, but some times the changes are not for the better, but there again it is better to see the glass as half full and not as half empty Lindsay |

Yes it does for good or bad, and for me being a melancholic person at heart, I tend to linger with the sentimental sides of life, not so good says my kids to me, but what can you do if you are born like that, hehe A poem to ponder over, beautifully written as always dear Yann. I have to commend you for another aspect here, your English, if it is indeed not your mother language ? If not, I am so impressed ! You know perhaps my mother company is French, and nobody there, and I mean nobody, has such excellent (and melodious) command of the English language as you constantly display. You have perhaps stayed or worked in the US or Britain ? Forgive my curiosity, you don't have to answer of course Katriona |

Dear Katriona, your question makes me happy, If you could hear me, you would run away, my french accent is lousy, all I do is to write and I guess it is easier, I stayed while travelling 120 days in Usa and made 8 or 10 weeks in england so I am a bit familiar with english...Since these travels I read english books which is very good to assimilate the language..I must confess that I learn a lot on the PIP site reading talented poets and commenting their works...I don't know how but it works...Thanks again for the delicious comment. yann |

yann, I think your efforts at learing English are showing in your poems. I have always enjoyed your poetry, but now - it is amazing. I think we are seeing more of the real yann as you are able to express yourself with more confidence. You are taking us deeper into your thoughts - and expressing them so beautifully. Thank you for allowing me to go on this journey with you. Your friend, Alison |
