. you always came around about then when you knew that I’d been crying and you never once chastised me but handed me tissues for my eyes then you took my hand and held it telling me things would be all right while you raised me up like a queen because you know I need attention and you were never nothing but gentle as you placed me back on my wings . it was then that you would whisper that my very best color was blue . my mind won't rest and I don't sleep... not even in my dreams ~ s. nicks |
