One Night in the Burmuda Triangle Long fingers of blood red sky As though from a dragons mouth Spread across above our heads Flames coming from the south The sea confused and rough As though not knowing east or west The compass spinning on its axis Breathing the air hurt our chests Not night or daylight time Just the Triangle's time of change Far out at sea, not near land Was this phenomenon's range The light disappeared, then just dark No moon, no sky, no reflection We were a ship alone at sea We were the Triangle's selection Quiet at first, then a noise like a train Our vessel vibrated as if floating on ground Then she heeled hard to port And seemed to turn hard around Then quiet, no sound, not even from the wind Just hearing frightened mens breathing Then all of a sudden the lights came back on Once again we were sailing The sky had a moon, and the sky had stars Deep in space we still could see Mars Waves lapped at the bow of the ship Water from spray went drip, drip, drip Each man looked at his friend The lookout looked out Whilst the helmsman steered But in each mans face was something he'd feared. |

My word! An experience one would not soon forget! ~ To be sure! My heart is pounding! I feel as though I just lived through that living nightmare. I have always been fascinated by the Bermuda Triangle. Now I've experienced it ~ through your vividly decriptive account of it! Fantastic writing! Excellent! Linda |

Good that you could tell the story! So mysterious that Triangle and yet men are attracted to know, to face the terror ... You have written a very captivating piece. I held my breath too! Love, Margherita |
