Overgrown ivy and queen annes lace forget-me-nots in bloom again spilling from a window box where the morning sun beams underneath a faded awning. Displayed on a sill are starfish assorted sea shells and a piece of driftwood in the shape of a heart. Seafoam in the mist and rainbow shades in glass vases compete with the view filtering the light with ease. Shifting shapes like a stained glass kaleidoscope sifting sand pebbles and coral hues that blend into the shoreline. Where the water is warm and the weather is cool for June a sea-maiden emerges tepid and timidly she steps from the wake of waves. Adorned in opal essence and porcelain blue pearl drops offering treasures from the sea. Translucent in the morning light she glows in the stillness surrounding her in dreams she lowers her eyes in a half gaze watching while you sleep. |

I thank you all for your nice replies. Sometimes it hard for me to express how much it means to me....I just hope you know. Poetry is about creative expression, and sharing our feelings. It's about encourging one another and the truth is, I am a poet (I like to think) because of your support and the time you take to read me here. Again, I thank you, sincerely~ |

A very beautiful seascape you have penned in the poems, BluesSerenade. I'm with Alison! I'd like to live in this seascape. Sounds like a much more pleasant place to be. |

Seafoam is one of my favorite colors, it holds so much life and constantly is giving .... I have always been aware of the warmth your heart contains, and the glow it retains. True Beauty ...... Ct *P.S. - when things "go cold", sometimes sound might reflect in a variety of meanings. I believe if you look again you will find my hand. : ) |

You have filled this with a window garden, still life, and so much more. I so like the idea of a perpetual sea giving birth to pearls and exquisite visitors. This maiden also carries the wings of morning. Lithe and lovely touches, these touches of sense and soul. Simply gorgeous! |
