there were those times by the window of day when your eyes would slip across me from the side like your fingers on the countertop sensation and I had to look back tag you as it, after before we opened the chinese food box smiles and looked into each other's to see secrets then traded them back and forth with our fingers with knees touching and shoulders too on purpose the stairway always seemed so distant behind us but we slept through the journey within a kiss and ended up closer to heaven in arm places yours seemed so small but they were long enough and sometimes we would talk about the ceiling how it was watching through the little holes that were pretending to be stars in our sky then we would laugh like we knew each other just before we began tempting the gods again _______________ daark [This message has been edited by Dark Stranger (07-21-2009 11:26 AM).] |
