you left today you said i was an idiot you said if i was smarter you would stay when you left today i cried when you left today the baby inside me was crying when you left today you left the family i did not let you get to me i did cry but only because you left her your baby i did not try to stop you i can only wish that you come back i do need you i do love you and so does she when you come back we may have a family when you come back we can show everybody that we love each other if only you came back |

Really good poem. Simple yet complex... It could be extended to say why they left. But really really good. Hope to see more of this standard in the future. |
