The hourglass of incapability
Stands alone tonight
Shadowed by her distant dreams
She’s far too tired to fight

The waves crash around her feet
As a boat heads into land
It dock’s by the foreshore
As it runs up on the sand

The silence said it all for her
She knew something was wrong
Three men headed up the beach
She’d known it all along

He placed a hand on her shoulder
As tears fell from his eyes
She knew the words coming next
Were sure as hellnot lies

I’m sorry but there’s a problem
Your fiancé’s boat is lost
We lost communication days ago
We’ll find them at all cost

The world crashed down around her
As she fell to the ground
Tears come teaming from her eyes
But she dare not make a sound

She headed for the docking yards
Her mother by her side
They needed information
Encase her man had died

Nothing they said could calm her
She didn’t want no cup of tea
They wrote the answer clearly for her

Honey. Listen to me when I say this. Andrew will come home. I know that doesn't help you any since I've been in that position before. Except mine was different from yours.

Right now just concentrate on Amelia. She needs you right now.
