Why Do I Still Love You?

One question haunts every thought
It is there no matter what I do
And the answer is one I'll never have
And it's all thanks to you

I can't seem to move on
And that will always hold true
Because the day I move on
Will be the day grass turns blue

I remember when you said
We could never be apart
We laid there together in my bed
On that night I handed you my heart

Some things always stay the same
Time doesn't always heal
And ever since that moment came
I haven't been able to feel

Every time you come to mind
I wish I couldn't think
Because the only thing I seem to find
Is more room for me to sink

Letting you back in
Is something I just can't do
But the question will always haunt me
Why do I still love you?

wow, second poem i have read and its awsome i say if you feel the need to work with it go a head but its just fine the way it is as far as i am concerned. nicly written.

This speaks to me. I've asked myself the question so many times with someone who I love, but don't get an answer. It's hard for me to find words to describe the feeling, but this poem captured the words that I coudldn't find. Great write! =^.^=

i'm glad this could speak to you. It's something i still struggle with (and actually have been alot today). But focusing on the positives in your life helps alot

OMG! the story of my life

the poem was so beautiful and it really hit home, i've been a situation like that for over a year and i know how hard it is to get over someone that you loved

This is my favorite stanza. But the whole poem is amazing.

Do you really love me? Or should i just let go now??
