A Long Time Ago (Last Time I Checked)

What are we doing now,
for love?

We used to give
mushy,
but sweet,
love poems;
and now we give into pleasure

and we entice each other
with
diamonds and gold

Last time I checked,
Love wasn't about looks.

Last time I checked,
Love wasn't about physical contact.

Last time I checked,
Love was about
heart
  passion
   devotion
and
a
    Spark.

I thought this was pretty awesome and totally true!

I liked it.... very much. It showed your true feelings about the relationship in a way that made me think that you're getting frustrated with the condition of the relationship... it was very REAL is the word I'm looking for. You didn't use big words(not to me anyway) and that said to me that it came straight from within your heart. Good job!!!
