This is it..
Enough, I'm DONE
This war is killing me..

Pulled from two directions
It hurts so much to breathe
Why won't you just listen...

I try and tell you
But the words just stay in
It's like i'm screaming out silence

How bout i just stop breathing
Everything's prettier when your dead
Will you miss when i'm gone..

This silence is me broken
Empty drawers and clean sheets
I'll see you in another life

___

this poem is up the creek and back
But give me credit for trying
I'd pull the trigger but i don't have the guts
And i don't feel like dying

But maybe one day you'll understand
Until then i'm all but done
Don't call, don't write, don't find me
This war is already won

The busted rhyme is my goodbye
to a life i wished i didn't live
I'm running to stand still again
But you aren't comming with

Jess, this is beautiful! I love it, and even though I may not understand how you're feeling, I can definately relate to it. Hang in there sweetie, I love you!

i absolutely loved reading this poem!
i think the flow and rhythm complimented the subject perfectly.

its amazing as always. you never do let me down. i can tell you now experiment with a lot of styles of writing that have helped you progress throughout your years of practice. You still have the same old charm as well, with strong emotion and great central ideas; your work comes alive.
